Edelweiss is one of the clubs who are members of the GACC. The 65th annual Deutscher Tag brings together the many area German clubs for a day of fun. Here's the schedule:
10 am Park opens; Soccer begins
11:30 am Carpathia Blasmusikanten Brass Band
2:30 pm Edelweiss members -- please arrive! We will perform 2 sets, at about 3:45 and 4:45
3 pm Opening Ceremony and Flag Parade
4 pm Rheinlander Band performs dance music
6-9 pm Edelweiss will man one of the bars
$3 entrance fee; children under 16 are free. Food & drink available all day. This is a fun event for all ages; the children love the Moonwalk. Find out more at www.germanamericanmetrodetroit.org
